X-Men First Class (2011) is the new X-Men film and the fifth installment in the X-Men movie series. The prequel superhero movie is directed by Matthew Vaughn and schedule to hit theaters on June 3, 2011.
The movie is set in the 1960s which focuses on the relationship between Professor X and Magneto and the origin of their groups, the X-Men and the Brotherhood of Mutants. The X-Men First Class stars James McAvoy as Professor X and Michael Fassbender as Magneto. Other cast members include Kevin Bacon, January Jones, Rose Byrne, Jennifer Lawrence, Zoë Kravitz, and Lucas Till.
